Long story short, I’m a Nashville-based marketing professional, but a nomad at heart. Case and point, even though I just typed that I’m based in Nashville, I’m currently spending a month in Houston, TX while I visit my family.

Travel and music are two of my major passions. I love exploring new places, listening to different types of music, and sharing my new finds with friends…hence the creation of this blog.

So where the heck did GOSI come from?

Well, I’m a violinist and I play violin for one of my dear friends, Emily. While waiting backstage at a gig, I was introduced to Emily’s then boyfriend now husband, Ant. At that point, there were two Sarahs in the band, so in order to keep us straight, Ant decided that I should be nicknamed GOSI…Good Ol’ Sarah Irby.

Here we are 6 years later, and I’m still known as GOSI. It’s very fitting since I’m a life-long traveler who loves to go see the world.
