Vegas…you may thinking it’s just a place to drink and gamble. No there’s so much more. Here are my favorite things to do:

• See a Show: 

Every time I’m in Vegas, I try to go see a show. The last one I saw was Mystère, which is a water show that’s a part of the Cirque du Soleil franchise. There’s a whole variety of shows that you can see in Vegas. Click here to see what’s currently playing.

• Visit the Hotels on the Strip:

Part of the fun of Vegas is exploring all the hotels. Each is uniquely decorated, has a variety of shows, and great restaurants. Make sure you watch the fountain show at the Bellagio, take a gondola ride at the Venetian, grab a croissant at Paris, and take a ride on the thrilling rollercoaster at New York-New York.

• Have a Pool Day:

Vegas has some of the best pools so make time to have a relaxing pool day.

• Check out Local Events:

There’s always something going on in Vegas…festivals, pool parties, special events, etc. Check out the Eventful website before you go to see what’s happening during your visit. Last time I was in Vegas, I went to the Route 91 festival, which is a 3-day country music festival (see picture above).
