• Pappasito’s

No matter how long or short my visit is in Houston, Pappasito’s Cantina is a must. We’ve been going there since I was in elementary school, and I still get the same thing…fajitas! When the chips and salsa arrive at the beginning of your meal, make sure to request the green, avocado dip!

• Lupe Tortilla

Now Lupe Tortilla is one of my brother’s favorites…I do have to confess that I’ve only eaten here once, but it was delicious! Again, fajitas are always a great choice.

Now, let’s talk BBQ….

• County Line

So BBQ-wise County Line is my favorite. I’m a sucker for the homemade white bread…we usually order a loaf to take home. You’re in Texas, so make sure you try the brisket!

• Rudy’s

Not only is the BBQ great at Rudy’s, but there are lots of great BBQ supplies…grab a bottle of Rudy’s famous BBQ sauce and seasoning/dry rubs.
